One of the first websites to offer English to Hindi and vice-verse is ShabdKosh .This is very helpful for students doing research on project works . Maneesh Soni started this out of passion and to take internet technology on next level.

Started in 2003 its goal is to be one of the finest reference sites for Indian languages.
